An acapella choral ensemble in Fairfax committed to furthering the enjoyment of singing and excellence in musical performance. Our focus is upon promoting good will in the community and a special sense of camaraderie among our members. Founded in 1953, our music features four-part close harmony in the barbershop style along with a broad repertoire of both traditional and modern songs.
In addition to our annual show and Singing Valentines, the chorus and various quartets perform at senior living facilities, Fairfax City 4th of July parade, Celebrate Fairfax!, the Vienna Church Street Holiday Stroll, Oatlands Historic House and Gardens, ball games, conventions and numerous other events and venues throughout the area. Welcoming Honor Flights for our veterans and bringing Christmas and seasonal music to nursing homes are some of our favorite traditions. The chorus is directed by a world renowned musician who offers free singing lessons throughout the year to those who want to improve their musical skills and abilities.
