The Capital One Hall Community Arts Partnership showcases Fairfax’s vibrant arts community by providing local artists and organizations with opportunities to perform in world-class venues at subsidized rates.
About Capital One Hall
Part of Capital One Center’s vibrant array of public art, entertainment, and retail, Capital One Hall hosts Broadway productions, comedy, dance performances, and concerts.
The venue opened in October 2021 and encompasses a variety of spaces.

Dates & Deadlines
This application to perform in Season VII (September 2027-June 2028) is now closed. The Application for season VIII will open February 2027.
Season VIII (September 2028 – June 2029) Full Timeline
- Information Session: February 2027
- Application Deadline: May 1, 2027 at 7:00 PM ET
- Late applications will not be accepted. Applications must be submitted via the online application system.
- County Notification & Review: May 2027
- Capital One Hall Review: May - September 2027
- Capital One Hall begins Scheduling: September 2027
- Season VIII Performances: September 2028 – June 2029
Information Session
The Season VII (September 2027 – June 2028) Information Session took place on February 19, 2026 at 6:30pm. During Information Sessions, Capital One Hall Staff and ArtsFairfax Staff share information about the Community Arts Partnership, eligibility requirements, scheduling process, related benefits, and discounted fees. Applicants are not required to attend.
Space & Fees
The Main Hall, Vault, and classroom spaces benefit from subsidized rental rates, production and front of house support, and box office support & discounted fees. Read about the specifications for each space, as well as what is included in their rent, below:

Eligibility
On behalf of Fairfax County, ArtsFairfax manages the online application process for community arts use of Capital One Hall. Through specially negotiated rates for Fairfax County-based nonprofit arts and culture groups, as well as arts-related programming by Fairfax County agencies and Fairfax County Public Schools, Capital One Hall invites its local community to use their spaces for performance, rehearsal, and other arts activities.
Who is eligible to apply for the Capital One Hall Community Arts Partnership?
To date, the Community Arts Partnership has served 45 community partners. Find examples of the organizations who have utilized this partnership here:
Application
- Season VII (September 2027 – June 2028) application closed on May 1, 2026 at 7pm ET.
- Season VIII (September 2028 – June 2029) application will be available in February 2027.

Capital One Hall Community Arts Partnership Benefits
Approved arts organizations and programs are submitted to Capital One Hall’s operator for integration into the season’s schedule and benefit from:
- Subsidized rental rates
- Production and Front of House support
- Box Office support & discounted fees
- Capital One Hall marketing and promotions support
Interested Fairfax arts organizations must submit a new application for each Season. Organizations outside of Fairfax County please contact info@capitalonehall.com with your inquiry.
