FUNDAY MONDAY – Storytime with the Fairfax Library “Pride” Theme

Kick off your Pride Month celebrations with a fun-filled Storytime event at Old Town Hall on June 24, 2024. From 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM, join the Fairfax Library for an engaging program designed for children. The event will feature age-appropriate stories like “Worm Loves Worm” and “Peanut Goes for the Gold,” as well as a craft activity. This free event requires no reservations, so gather your little ones and immerse yourselves in the joy of storytelling.

Partials for Pride

Partials for Pride is a special pop-up hair color event organized by Happy Labs to celebrate Pride Month. This vibrant event will take place on June 5 at Wonderland Studios in Fairfax. From 10 AM to 7 PM, participants can get their hair colored on a first-come, first-serve basis. What’s even better is that 30% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Casa Brumar Foundation, a local nonprofit supporting LGBTQIA+ communities. Join in the colorful celebration and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Earp’s Ordinary Music Event

Earps Ordinary invites you to a music event on June 8, 2024, featuring an exciting lineup of talented artists. Indie Folk singer/songwriter Kipyn Martin, WAMMIE Award recipient, along with versatile musician Gabrielle Zwi, folk-pop artist committed to environmental causes, and energetic performer Freddy Hall are set to grace the stage. Fairfax Trek Bikes Pride Ride

Fairfax Trek Bikes is hosting the Pride Ride on June 30 at 11 AM. Join fellow cyclists for a community ride through Fairfax County, spreading positivity and unity along the way. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with LGBTQ+ resource centers and show your support through this exciting ride.

Celebrate Pride Month by visiting local breweries in Fairfax County and indulging in special Pride-themed drinks. Ornery Beer Company presents its unique “Friends of Dorothy” brew alongside offerings from Chubby Squirrel Brewing Company and Commonwealth Brewing Company. Out & About Festival

The Out & About Festival, taking place on Saturday, June 22 at 3 PM, will be held at the Filene Center located at 1551 Trap Road in Vienna, VA 22182. This exciting event promises a day filled with music, nature, and a celebration of LGBTQ+ talent and allies. With three stages featuring Grammy winner Brittany Howard, indie-pop sensation Jenny Lewis, and the energetic sounds of Lawrence, attendees are sure to be entertained. As the festival takes place in America’s only National Park for the Performing Arts, it offers a unique experience. Apart from the performances, there will be surprises, delicious food, and opportunities to connect with the community. Additionally, a separate ticket will be required for the Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods performance by Laura Doherty & The Heartbeats. Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the 2024 Out & About Festival!

HerndonPRIDE Festival

The first-ever Herndon PRIDE event is coming to Arts Herndon Lawn on June 8, 2024. This is a family-friendly event that promises to offer an extravaganza of music, arts, and crafts. The festival is free, and vendors will be selected based on the quality of their work and overall presentation. The event will include performances by Anita Velveeta, Vanya + The Egomaniacs, and Ukulele Deth Squad. The festival is expected to draw a lot of attention from locals, and it promises to be an exciting day out for the whole family. The event will take place from noon to 5 pm, and it is free to the public. Further details will be announced in due course. Overall, Herndon PRIDE is shaping up to be a must-attend event on the Herndon social calendar.

Drag Bingo

On June 25th at 6:00 pm, Starr Hill Biergarten will be hosting Drag Bingo featuring Crimsyn & Logan Stone. This event is a great way to celebrate Pride at The Perch, with a night filled with fun, music, drinks, and, of course, bingo! The event is free and open to the whole family so that everyone can enjoy the festivities. It is suggested that you arrive early to secure a spot, as no registration is required. Mark your calendars and get ready to have a great time at Drag Bingo at Starr Hill Biergarten!

Visit Tysons Corner Center to experience the Pride-themed LOVE photo op featuring the iconic LOVE letters.
