The Capital One Hall Community Arts Partnership showcases Fairfax’s vibrant arts community by providing local artists and organizations with opportunities to perform in world-class venues at subsidized rates.

About Capital One Hall

Part of Capital One Center’s vibrant array of public art, entertainment, and retail, Capital One Hall hosts Broadway productions, comedy, dance performances, and concerts.

The venue opened in October 2021 and encompasses a variety of spaces.

About Capital One Hall Spaces

Approved arts organizations and programs are submitted to Capital One Hall’s operator for integration into the season’s schedule.

Performance Spaces:

Additional space rental opportunities include 1,766 total square footage of flexible-use spaces for meetings, rehearsals, etc., and come equipped with tech capabilities.

Through four seasons of the Community Arts Partnership, 45 community partners have served over 50,000 patrons.

Season VIII (September 2028 – June 2029) Full Timeline

Information Session

The Season VII (September 2027 – June 2028) Information Session took place on February 19, 2026 at 6:30pm. During Information Sessions, Capital One Hall Staff and ArtsFairfax Staff share information about the Community Arts Partnership, eligibility requirements, scheduling process, related benefits, and discounted fees. Applicants are not required to attend.

Space & Fees

The Main Hall, Vault, and classroom spaces benefit from subsidized rental rates, production and front of house support, and box office support & discounted fees. Read about the specifications for each space, as well as what is included in their rent, below:

Eligibility

On behalf of Fairfax County, ArtsFairfax manages the online application process for community arts use of Capital One Hall. Through specially negotiated rates for Fairfax County-based nonprofit arts and culture groups, as well as arts-related programming by Fairfax County agencies and Fairfax County Public Schools, Capital One Hall invites its local community to use their spaces for performance, rehearsal, and other arts activities.
