Springfield Art Guild Guest Artist
The Springfield Art Guild announces that our guest artist for the April 8th meeting will be nationally-known artist Gavin Glakas. Gavin works in both portraiture and landscapes, and his paintings hang in the US Capitol, the Virginia State Capitol, the CIA and multiple museums, universities and other public and private collections. He has been honored with write-ups in Fine Art Connoisseur, International Artist, Plein Air magazine, and many more. Gavin teaches at the Yellow Bar Studio in Glen Echo. He is represented by the Principal Gallery in Alexandria.
Join us at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8th, at the Guild’s meeting place, Grace Presbyterian Church, 7434 Bath Street, Springfield, VA 22150. The event is free and guests are very welcome to attend.
