Discover the Art of Crochet—for the absolute beginner
This two-session class will provide a brief introduction about what crochet really is. The students will learn about the tools and materials used in crochet, including how each is used, while exploring the materials. Students first learn how to comfortably hold the hook and yarn before moving on to learn the five fundamental stitches of crochet.
Students will each take home, mounted on a card frame, a beautiful ‘sample’ display of the stitches they have learned. Once you learn these five stitches, you will be able to make many fun and beautiful items.
