A comedy show controlled by a robot paired with an expert talk on robots & social justice. One night only with Dr. Tom Williams in an intimate black box theatre.

What happens when the algorithm takes over the stage?

Join Resonance Improv Alliance and robotics expert Dr. Tom Williams for an evening where cutting-edge tech meets every day humanity. We’re exploring “Degrees of Freedom”—not just in robotic joints, but in our own lives—to see if humans can still find the funny when a machine is calling the shots.

Dr. Tom Williams kicks things off with a deep dive into the intersections of Robotics and Social Justice from his forthcoming book, Degrees of Freedom. How do algorithms shape our agency, and how do we design for a more just future?

Then, performers run Asimov’s Gauntlet, and the theory is put to the test. A local improv team performs a high-energy set while our Robot Director interjects audience suggestions. It’s a battle of wits between human spontaneity and robotic logic.

Just 30 seats are available in this intimate venue!
