We are delighted to welcome Marjan Kamali, New York Times bestselling author of The Stationery Shop and her latest novel, The Lion Women of Tehran, for an intimate afternoon of conversation, Q&A, and book signing at Pars Place.

Born to Iranian parents and raised across several continents, Marjan’s storytelling beautifully bridges cultures and generations. Her works explore themes of friendship, love, betrayal, and the unbreakable spirit of Iranian women. She is also the recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Award (2022) and holds degrees from UC Berkeley, Columbia University, and NYU.

During this special event, Marjan Kamali will be in conversation with Termeh Rassi, discussing her journey as a writer, her inspirations, and the story behind The Lion Women of Tehran. Copies of her books will be available for purchase, courtesy of Busboys and Poets.
