Suzy Alden is a performer, director, choreographer, and scenic artist across the DMV and beyond. A multidisciplinary artist who loves trying her hand at many aspects of theatricality to fully experience and understand each side of the process, you may have seen her work locally in a number of iterations. Suzy has performed on the stages of NextStop Theatre Co., Imagination Stage, 1st Stage, Synetic Theatre, Workhouse Arts Center, Avant Bard, and others. Her scenic art has painted the stages of Shakespeare Theatre Company, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Co., Mosaic Theatre, Constellations Theatre Co., NextStop Theatre Co., 1st Stage, various area high schools, and most notably the History Channel Shows The Food That Built America and The Brands That Built America. A lover of anything movement and dance as well as story-crafting, she has choreographed and directed at Constellation Theatre Co., NextStop Theatre Co., Yorktown High School, Washington & Liberty High School, South County High School, and others.
