Based in McLean, the New Dominion Chorale was founded in 1991 by Artistic Director Emeritus Thomas Beveridge “to advance the choral arts” in our community – a mission that NDC continues to fulfill to this day. A no-audition chorale of 130 voices, NDC, accompanied by professional vocal soloists and orchestral musicians, performs beloved choral masterworks from the classical genre, as well as exploring more contemporary pieces. With the recent retirement of Maestro Beveridge, NDC is now starting our second chapter under the baton of Artistic Director Casey Cook, and will be incorporating even newer works, by living composers.
NDC also supports a second, smaller ensemble of singers, New Dominion Harmony, which performs free concerts of popular music and show tunes, extending the enjoyment of choral musical more widely throughout the community.
We are a chorale with a strong history of camaraderie and accomplishment that we joyfully share among ourselves and with our audiences. Learn more here.
