What are the benefits of taking music lessons?
Music lessons help students exercise their creativity and self-expression while developing important life skills like discipline, patience and time management. With guidance from expert instructors, students also gain confidence and build their self-esteem. Through Music & Arts’ regular performance opportunities, music lesson students interact with other musicians in their area, making friends and becoming part of their local community.

What instruments do you offer for music lessons?
We offer the following music lessons: banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice lessons.

As a parent/guardian do I need to remain in the store while my child takes lessons?
An adult parent or guardian must accompany any student under 12 years of age upon arrival and departure from every in-store lesson. You may leave during the lesson, but we ask that if you choose to leave the store during your child’s lesson, please be sure to return on time. Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance.

Are 30-minute music lessons worth it?
Yes, 30-minute music lessons at Music & Arts are a great option for beginners and younger students. These shorter sessions help students stay focused while building foundational skills and consistent practice habits.

Advanced students will also progress through regular 30-minute music lessons, which provide ample time for our expert instructors to help with technique, repertoire, music theory and more.
