Born and and raised in Puerto Rico and currently based in Washington, D.C., Max Rosado has worked and recorded vocals for and with many artists in Puerto Rico, USA, Mexico, Panama and other countries. Rosado has worked with artists like Luisito Carrión, Jerry Rivera, Rey Ruiz, Ismael Miranda, Jose Alberto el Canario, Daniela Darcourt, among many other artists. Rosado has also been part of the opening acts from artists such as Noel Schajris, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and Luis Enrique.
Over a period of 15 years, Rosado has been honored to perform in venues all around Puerto Rico and the U.S.A and in events like PR Heineken Jazzfest, Dia Nacional de la Zalsa, World Salsa Congress, The Kennedy Center, Blues Alley and with his band, the 7th St. Band, and has performed in venues inside and outside the U.S like Washington DC, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, London, Toronto to name a few. Rosado has reached top 5 in different salsa charts like Z93, NewGen Salsa, Salseo Radio among many others.
In 2018, Rosado was part of the Latin-Grammy winning album Victor Manuelle’s ’25/7′ and award-nominated Pete Perignon’s ‘La Esquina del Bailador’ as a Background Vocalist. In 2022, Rosado was awarded ‘Best Vocalist’ at the Intercontinental Music Awards, and in 2024, Rosado has been awarded the D.C – based, Wammie Awards, for best Traditional-Latin artist. Rosado’s energy, charisma and mix of original music and salsa classics will make people come and be part of his performance, suitable for all ages.
