Jessi Shull has been living and working as a performer, choreographer, and teaching artist in the Fairfax County area for more than a decade. She’s currently the Director of Education at NextStop Theatre in Herndon. In addition to her work there, she choreographs choir and theater performances at several Fairfax County schools including Hunters Woods ES in Reston, Rocky Run MS in Chantilly, and Edison HS in Alexandria. Prior to her work at NextStop, she was a long-time teaching artist with Creative Cauldron in Falls Church. And for the last seven years, she has also been a teaching artist specializing in Arts Integration (Dance and Acting) with Wolf Trap and their Early Learning Through the Arts program. To say that she is passionate about Arts Education would be an understatement- there is such joy to be found in cultivating imagination and telling stories with students of all ages, the young and the young-at-heart.
