Artist’s Statement
My art goes beyond what I think about a subject. It exposes how I feel about it. The style is a form of realism, but on a much deeper, subjective, and expressionistic level. I am drawn to work in fiber because of its tactile qualities and incredible versatility. It can be molded into almost any form with soft inviting surfaces or intense reflective ones, just like emotions.
