Layered Lives: Women in Print brings together women artists from the DMV region who explore the depths of lived experience through experimental printmaking techniques. Working primarily in semi-abstract forms, the artists use layered images, symbols, and textures—both physical and symbolic to reflect narratives of resilience, identity, and transformation. Through innovative approaches to printmaking, their artworks reveal the enduring power of craft and creative strength, that evolves over time, celebrating the intersection of personal intuition, artistic craft, and collective memory.
