Pearls of Sound: Opening Concert of the 30th Anniversary Season

The Woodbridge Flute Choir opens its 2026–2027 season with a free concert featuring music that reflects the ensemble’s history, creativity, and community. Under the direction of Artistic Director Debbie Gilbert, the program includes works connected to the Choir’s founders, past commissions, and meaningful moments in its journey—including Woodbridge Suite, commissioned by founder Rebecca Jeffreys; String of Pearls, arranged in honor of the Choir’s anniversary; Cat’s Pajamas, recorded by the ensemble during the COVID pandemic; Tango Molto Basso, commissioned for the 2018 International Low Flutes Festival; and Alleluia, performed in memory of beloved members Rebecca Hartong and Barb Neal. The program also features Le Château Hanté, Solemnities, and Eventide. All are welcome to enjoy this free performance as part of the Friends of Music Series.
