Community Maker Night
Community Makers Foundation brings people together through hands-on creativity, upcycled art, and collaborative community projects. Join us at our free monthly Community Makers Night in Springfield, VA.
A free monthly creative gathering where neighbors come together to make art, meet new people, and contribute to projects that make a positive impact in our community. Held every Second Friday of the month.
Join us for a relaxed and fun drop-in creative night for adults, teens, seniors and families. Free to attend, all supplies provided. Each event features two hands-on maker stations, giving participants the chance to create something meaningful while connecting with neighbors and friends.
Take-Home Maker Station
At this station, participants create a fun, guided upcycled craft mostly made up of donated or repurposed materials.
These projects are designed to be creative, beginner-friendly, and sustainable. Everyone leaves with something unique they made themselves no matter your skill level.
It’s a chance to explore creativity while learning how everyday materials can become something new.
Community Outreach Project
The second station focuses on working together toward a larger community goal.
Participants contribute to a collaborative project that will be donated to a local nonprofit, organization or community space.
These projects help create a sense of shared purpose and remind us that even small creative actions can make a large impact!
When the evening ends, participants know they helped create something that will brighten someone else’s day.
Community Maker Night is located at 7721 Painted Daisy Dr, Springfield, 22152. Admission is free. Drop in any second Friday of the month from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Registration is not required but highly encouraged to ensure we have enough materials for every maker!
