Nayoon Choi, Flute
Dr. Nayoon Choi is a flutist, teacher, and freelancer based in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. Born in South Korea, Dr. Choi made her solo debut at age twelve and has since performed across Korea, Europe, and the U.S., including at the Kennedy Center. She has played with groups such as the Meridian Trio, Eine Flute Ensemble, and Ahrya Trio, and won many competitions. She holds degrees from the Royal College of Music, Trinity College of Music, Illinois State University, and George Mason University.
Jiyoon Oh, Oboe
Jiyoon Oh is an accomplished oboist whose artistry bridges international traditions and stages. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the Korean National University of Arts, followed by a Master of Music at the University of Music and Dance Cologne and a Diploma from the University of Music in Mannheim. Currently, she serves on the faculty of the Mason Arts Academy at George Mason University and is the Principal Oboist of the Washington Chamber Orchestra.
GaYoung Lee, Piano
Dr. GaYoung Lee is an acclaimed solo and collaborative pianist praised for her sensitive artistry and expressive musicality. She has performed internationally in solo recitals, chamber music, and vocal collaborations, and since 2022 has served as the official collaborative pianist for the Spanish Young Music Talents program with the Embassy of Spain. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University, working as a collaborative pianist and coach. A prizewinner in national and international competitions, including George Mason’s Concerto Competition, she holds a DMA and MM in Piano Performance from George Mason University, a BM from the Catholic University of Korea, and pursued additional graduate studies at Ewha Womens University.
