“Poetry Lives Here” celebrates and amplifies the voices of living poets. Originally created by the inaugural Fairfax Poet Laureate, Nicole Tong, the project invited community members to share the works of living poets via video every April, which is celebrated as National Poetry Month in the U.S.

Today, the current Fairfax Poet Laureate, Danielle Badra, continues this legacy with “Poetry in the Parks.”
