This week, ArtsFairfax and Capital One Hall celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Community Arts Partnership, designed to create more opportunities for local artists to share their work with wider audiences.
Through this civic partnership, ArtsFairfax invites local arts groups to perform at Capital One Hall and benefit from subsidized rental rates. Approved organizations additionally gain production and front of house support; box office support and discounted ticketing fees; and promotional support from both ArtsFairfax and Capital One Hall.
In recognition of this milestone celebration, Delegate Holly Seibold and Senator Saddam Salim presented a Commendation from the Virginia General Assembly in recognition of the Community Arts Partnership between ArtsFairfax and Capital One Hall.
ArtsFairfax thanks Senator Salim, Delegate Seibold, and Supervisor Palchik for their support at the state and local level for continued public funding for the arts; Fairfax County and the County Arts Committee for their collaboration; and Capital One for their investment in opening the doors of Capital One Hall to local arts organizations.
