Angie Mazakis
Angie Mazakis: Mazakis a former resident of Fairfax County, received an MFA from George Mason University and is a current PhD student at the University of Ohio where she teaches creative writing. Her collection, I Was Waiting to See What You’d Do First, was a finalist for the prestigious Miller Williams prize. Her poems have been published in Best New Poets, The New Republic, and Narrative Magazine to name a few.
