The Sylvan Waters Duo in Fairfax City!

The beautiful musical combination of harp and bass awaits you at this FREE concert performance at the Sherwood Center in Fairfax City.

The Sylvan Waters Duo, made up of harpist Dr. Tula Ruggiero, and double bassist Raymond Irving, present an eclectic program of chamber music spanning four decades. Some highlights of the program include the well-known baroque Eccles Sonata in G Minor, Adoration by early 20th Century African-American composer Florence Price, and the hauntingly beautiful Ave Maria from Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.

A light reception will follow the performance.
