Established in December 1986 by Pat Macintyre, The Reston Art Gallery and Studios (RAGS) in Northern Virginia is a privately owned cooperative gallery in the historical part of Reston known as Lake Anne.

Nine juried artists work, exhibit, and sell their art at RAGS, including owner Pat Macintyre and full-time artists Rosemarie Forsythe, Julia Malakoff, Marthe McGrath, Jennifer Duncan, Cindy Grisdela, and Karen Rose Loehr. We have two adjunct artists, Doug Fuller and Geoff Lipsey, who exhibit in group shows and have their own Adjunct exhibition once a year.

The Gallery’s artworks represent a variety of styles and mediums, including oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, collage, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.
