Broadway Gallery is a full-service art and picture framing company. We offer complete art services to a wide range of corporate and residential clients. We focus on museum quality framing with an emphasis on providing unique and creative designs to our clients. We are looking for an experienced picture framer to join our production team at our location in Alexandria, VA.

Description-
Design and build custom frames for a variety of mediums and sizes of art while meeting archival needs and keeping craftmanship in mind. The ideal candidate is a reliable, self-efficient, and experienced framer who can work independently and with a team. This person should be willing to take direction and learn new things. This person should be good with tools and machinery and be able to solve problems by using a creative and practical approach. This is a full-time position with a salary ranged from 40k-75k based on experience. Benefits included. Overtime is available. On-the-job training is available.

Responsibilities-
• Perform all tasks necessary in picture framing production. Including but not limited to:
o Wood chopping and joining
o Mat cutting
o Glass cutting
o Mounting Art
o Frame fitting
• Approach problem solving by thinking of the most practical solution while anticipating customer needs and keeping archival methods in mind.

Qualifications-
• 3+ Years of experience working in picture framing production.
• PPFA certification a plus but not required.
• Comfortable with a variety of tools.
• Can easily lift 50+lbs.
• Basic woodworking skills.
