Capital Wind Symphony (947)
The Capital Wind Symphony works closely with music educators throughout Washington, Maryland and Virginia to encourage student attendance at live presentations. The Capital Wind Symphony was created as an ensemble for musicians near the nation's capital, committed to bringing the finest wind band literature performed at the highest level.
Cellospeak was created in 2000 by the Artistic Director Dorothy Amarandos as a summer workshop for adult cello students yearning for an opportunity to play in ensembles. It is our mission to provide opportunities for inspiring and enriching cello instruction for adults from all professions, backgrounds, and stages of life to come together in the Cellospeak Programs to share a love of music and the cello.
Ensembles and members of the City of Fairfax Band Association (CFBA) support performing arts in the Fairfax community and in the greater Northern Virginia and Washington DC metropolitan area.
The orchestra’s mission is to “explore and present the symphonic repertoire, both traditional and modern, for the diverse audiences of the Northern Virginia region while building the musicians and audiences of the future through education and outreach programs."
Fairfax Wind Symphony (618)
The Fairfax Wind Symphony was founded in 1999 to provide music educators in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area an opportunity to read and prepare significant wind literature of all grade levels, and to explore contemporary rehearsal techniques and procedures.
The George Mason University Wind Symphony ranks among the finest collegiate wind bands in the Commonwealth. This select, 50-member ensemble is comprised of the most outstanding woodwind, brass, and percussion players in the School of Music and University, and performs the best literature available for wind band, including student and faculty compositions as well as more traditional literature.
Global Music Academy (714)
The mission of Global Music Academy is to bring accomplished world-recognized musicians to students for demonstrations and tutoring. In our special music camps, we have master classes for our students taught by recognized musicians.
Harmonia School provides an artistic environment where students of all ages can enhance their performing and visual arts abilities in one convenient venue. Harmonia School’s programs include instrumental and voice instruction in private and group settings, art classes, and theatre classes and productions.
International New Praise Academic Support Society (INPASS) is a nonprofit faith-based organization that seeks to foster social and intellectual growth of young musicians through contemporary classical praise music.
Lopez Studios (803)
Lopez Studios, Inc. is a private performing arts school. Our program presents learning music and the arts in a school atmosphere where our instructors follow set guidelines for achievement established by the school, for each of our programs. Lopez Studios explores a broad range of musical styles such as classical, jazz, pop, R&B, Contemporary Christian, and gospel.

McLean Symphony (921)
The McLean Symphony was established in 1971 as an all-volunteer chamber orchestra. During its history it has been dedicated to providing good music at affordable prices to area residents in a handsome venue, the lovely Alden theatre at the McLean Community Center.
The Potomac Valley Theatre Organ Society is dedicated to preserving the theatre pipe organ in Washington, D.C., and surrounding areas. PVTOS is a chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society, a national organization formed in 1955. National and local members work to preserve organs and their theatres, and to promote theatre organ performances.

Prelude Chamber Ensemble is a non-profit group of passionate musicians who are dedicated to promoting classical music and cultural exchange, encouraging the development of young musicians throughout the love of music.
The Reston Chamber Orchestra (RCO) has the dual mission of bringing orchestral music to Reston and providing opportunities for the many talented musicians in the area. The RCO specialized in Baroque and early classical masterpieces.
Reunion Music Society (597)
The mission of the Reunion Music Society is to serve the community through music. The goals of the RMS are to recognize the need to nurture and support young and/or unknown composers and performers, and help them to successfully introduce their works to the community. RMS co-sponsors and produces the Annandale Brass, The NOVA-Annandale Symphony Orchestra and the Reunion Music Society Jazz Orchestra.
The mission of Virginia Bronze is to advance the art of English handbell ringing through a community-based forum in Northern Virginia.
The Virginia Chamber Orchestra’s mission is to perform fine music with highest artistic integrity for the broadest possible audience, within the limits of fiscal responsibility. Virginia Virtuosi provides interactive musical programs to youth, adults, families and communities in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia. We utilize and engage a broad spectrum of disciplines into our programming to educate and excite participants about music.
The Washington Balalaika Society was founded in 1988 by a group of Washington-area musicians interested in studying and performing the music of Russia, Ukraine and eastern Europe on traditional Russian folk instruments. The Society's membership has grown to more than sixty, and the WBS Orchestra is now the largest of its kind in America with musicians at all levels from beginner to professional.
Youth Orchestras of Fairfax mission is to provide young people with the opportunity to perform first-class orchestral and chamber music, develop their skills through quality instruction, increase their enjoyment of classical music, and contribute to the cultural life of Fairfax County.

CARMINA, (Latin for “poetry” or “songs”) is a chamber choir devoted to exploring the diverse musical styles of the Middles Ages through the Baroque. Carmina's sister organization, the women's vocal ensemble Illuminare, formed in 2006, has also established a reputation in the Washington area for tastefully persuasive interpretations of early repetoire.
Choralis Foundation (682)
The Choralis Foundation, founded by Artistic Director Gretchen Kuhrmann in 2000, is dedicated to nurturing a passion for choral music in the greater Washington metropolitan area through offering excellence in choral performance and providing educational outreach. Choralis provides opportunities for area singers to participate in, and audiences to enjoy, professional-level concerts and musical experiences.
Collegium Cantorum (372)
Collegium Cantorum is a concert choir, organized in 1986, specializing in "large forms for small choirs" and drawing most of its repertory from the great masterpieces of medieval and Renaissance Europe. Performances are held in Washington-area churches with acoustics appropriate to medieval and Renaissance "cathedral music", and are open to the public.
DC Bluegrass Union (1022)

Fairfax Choral Society (951)
The Fairfax Choral Society's mission is to enrich the lives touched through the performance, education, and appreciation of choral art. With nine ensembles and sixteen musicianship classes, FCS is one of the largest choral groups in Northern Virginia and the only organization providing opportunities to choral singers from preschool through adult.
Fairfax Jubil-Aires (679)
The Fairfax Jubil-Aires are members of the Fairfax County Virginia chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA). The Jubil-Aires chorus and quartets perform throughout the area at such places as the White House Ellipse, Fairfax City parade, city parks, conventions, and other social events.

New Dominion Chorale (652)
The New Dominion Chorale is one of the largest choral groups in the area (if not the largest). New Dominion Chorale boasts 225 members and is widely regarded as one of the jewels of Washington's brilliant choral scene.
Founded in 1975, Northern Virginia Chorale performs throughout the northern Virginia area.
The Northern Virginia Ragtime Society (NVRS) was founded in December 1979 for the purpose of promoting an interest in classical ragtime and related forms of music. Over the intervening years, the NVRS has presented more than one hundred fifty performances featuring some of the nation's leading professional ragtime artists as well as top local musicians.
The Odeon Chamber Music Series presents quality chamber music to the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area. The series delights listeners with outstanding artistry in a friendly setting, while offering local and international musicians a prestigious performance venue.

Riverbend Opera Company is a singers' collaborative, formed in 2009. We are a Virginia non-profit corporation, operating exclusively to bring professional opera productions to performance in our area. Our principal artists span the range from seasoned professionals with international experience, to young singers just embarking on their professional careers. we are equally proud that in our first three years, over 100 extraordinarily talented and highly-trained singers with extensive experience in over a dozen area companies joined us on stage.
The Russian Chamber Art Society, with its outstanding professional performers, promotes the awareness, understanding, enjoyment and appreciation of music that vividly portrays the Russian vocal music culture.
A not-for-profit musical organization, the Vienna Choral Society (VCS) was formed in January 1987 to provide music for events sponsored by the Town of Vienna, community organizations, and the residents of Vienna and surrounding communities. World Children's Choir (465)
The World Children's Choir serves as a voice for children worldwide — giving voice to the interests of all children, celebrating cultural diversity through music, promoting positive international relations, and asking people to work together to create a peaceful, healthy world for children. Through singing, WCC members explore musical content, and use music, art, and special activities to mediate cross-cultural differences and become peacemakers. The children learn how music and art expresses emotion, creates shared experiences, bridges differences, tells stories, produces beauty and enriches others.
