Video Fairfax

Video Fairfax, helps students, in grades K-12 in Fairfax County Public Schools, to learn about film and digital media from new media professionals. Children participate in a hands-on workshop and competition to learn about film production techniques.

Then, students submit original videos produced through individual or group efforts. Film clips are judged by professionals from local television studios and independent media production companies. An awards program and reception celebrates the winning entries, which are featured on Channel 21, the Fairfax County Public Schools cable television station.
