Fairfax Choral Society Invites the public to 3 Upcoming Concerts:

b2ap3_thumbnail_Faifax-Choral-Society-spring.jpgSpring Follies!  Friday, May 15, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
The final concert of the Central Campus Youth concert season will celebrate the songs of the stage. This concert format, now in its 9th year, offers students an opportunity to essentially design their own concert - they pick the music, choreograph the selections, find the costumes, and prepare the arrangements. The directors give guidance, but their job is really behind the scenes. It is a wonderful thing to see the personalities and creativity of this great group of young people! You won't be disappointed, I assure you!

b2ap3_thumbnail_Fairfax-Choral-society-broadway.jpgBroadway Goes Choral!  Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 8:00 p.m.
Many bright lights illuminated New York's theatre district as "The Great White Way." Now, the bright lights come down to Northern Virginia as the Fairfax Choral Society presents Broadway Goes Choral. The voices of the Symphonic Chorus, Master Singers, Concert Choir, and soloists, along with a full symphony orchestra, will light up the night with works from your favorite musicals, featuring shows by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, and Meredith Wilson, to name only a few. Come hear the richness, depth, and grandness that hundreds of singers will lend to these musical treasures from the Broadway state.

b2ap3_thumbnail_fairfax-choral-society-nature.jpgThe Song That Nature Sings,  Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 5:00 pm
The culminating concert of the season for the West and South Campus Youth Choirs will feature songs about the beauty, whimsy, mystery, and sanctuary found in nature. Attend this tribute to the majesty that surrounds us each day.
