Theatre

1st Stage Theatre (22)

1st Stage Theatre, located near Leesburg Pike and the Dulles Toll Road, is the creation of a group of teachers, artists and actors in Fairfax County who wanted to bring professional theatre to Tysons Corner and, in doing so, give local artists an opportunity to grow in their careers.

Acting for Young People Stages, Inc. (30)

AFYP's is to provide actors of all ages with professional-level training in a supportive and fun environment. Through this training, AFYP hopes to help actors develop skills that will serve them in all walks of life, on stage and off.

Alden Theatre (14)

Located inside the Beltway just minutes from 66 and the GW Parkway, the Alden offers a full season of performances by touring artists in a gorgeous, 383-seat venue. Visitors will see the same high quality acts that come to DC's 1,000+ capacity theatres.

Alliance Theatre (22)

The Alliance Theatre is dedicated to the production of excellent family based community theatre located conveniently in western Fairfax County. Be sure to check out current productions, past performances and upcoming productions!

Elden Street Players (23)

The Elden Street Players were founded in 1988 and have been committed to providing affordable, high-quality theatrical productions.  As a community theatre, our all volunteer staff and casts are continuously striving to push the limits of what is possible in our intimate "black box space" at the Industrial Strength Theatre.

Hub Theatre (25)

The Hub Theatre is a professional non-profit theatre making its home in Fairfax County, Virginia. The Hub Theatre endeavors to produce work that highlights our common humanity.

McLean Community Players, Inc. (23)

McLean Community Players, formed out of the Great Falls Players, C.A.S.T. in McLean, and the McLean Theatre Alliance, has been entertaining the community since about 1964. Performances are at the Alden Theatre: 1234 Ingleside Ave, McLean, VA 22101.

McLean Drama Company (20)

The McLean Drama Company, a non-profit organization, stages theatrical productions and dramatic readings emphasizing its mission, to present and inspire dramatic writing and new American plays, by playwrights from Northern Virginia, the Greater Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area and nationwide.

Metropolitan Performing Arts Alliance (23)

Metropolitan Performing Arts Alliance is a non-profit organization that fosters, promotes and increases the appreciation, understanding and education of the arts in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area through quality learning and performance experiences. The MPAA consists of an alliance of four performing arts organizations: The Metropolitan Performing Arts Theatre and the Metropolitan Youth Tap Ensemble (MYTE), MetroTAP, and MPulse.

Noble Blades (24)

The Noble Blades are the resident stage combat troupe of the Reston Community Players (Reston, Virginia) and the area's only professionally trained, community theatre-based fight group. Activities include classes, workshops, demonstrations, and fight choreography.

Providence Players of Fairfax (25)

The Providence Players of Fairfax is a community theatre company based in Fairfax, Virginia that performs at the James Lee Community Center Theatre in Falls Church, Virginia.

Reston CenterStage (15)

A modern 300-seat theater in the Reston Community Center, the CenterStage hosts community arts organizations and sponsors a performance series. The center also sponsors a Young Actors Theatre. The box office is open from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and two hours before any performance. Reservations may also be left on a 24-hour answering machine: 703-476-1111.

Vienna Theatre Company (24)

Vienna Theatre Company is the resident, non-profit performing company at the Vienna Community Center. VTC brings the town of Vienna the opportunity to participate in theater as a viewing audience or as working members of a local theater company dedicated to fine entertainment in the best traditions of community theater.
