In 2009 Arts Council grants supported over 4,065 performances, exhibitions, community partnerships, and educational activities. Over 1.75 million people attended performances, exhibitions, and events.

Our grants program empowers artists and art organizations to fullfill their mission.

In 2009, a total of $531,725 was awarded to 46 organizations and 11 individual artists in Fairfax County. The grants program supports the arts community throughout Fairfax County whether it is arts education, choral or instrumental music, dance, opera and theatre, or visual arts;  from individuals to large organizations.  Our grants program builds the arts community in Fairfax County.
