The Arts Council advocates for our community’s artists and art organizationss and cultural facilities and serves as the County’s re-granting agency for funds designated for local artists and arts organizations.

Through the common language of the arts, the Arts Council and its constituents work to link the diverse communities who enrich our life in Fairfax County proving, once again, that the arts build communities. Arts Council staff and Board members serve on multiple County committees and taskforces.
