Public Art Preconference - June 24-25
In 2010, the Americans for the Arts Public Art Network (PAN) celebrates its 10th anniversary. Join us as we honor the founders of PAN—the arts leaders that established the nation’s only professional network dedicated to advancing the field of public art. Connect with public art professionals in hands-on discussions to examine current key issues and envision the next 10 years. The preconference will feature the Public Art Network Award, 2009 Public Art Year in Review, public art site visits, and keynote speaker interviews with innovators of the field.

Arts Education Preconference - June 24-25
Join arts education professionals from across the country for an intensive 24-hour convening on issues related to the system of public education and youth services. Contribute your personal and professional knowledge on arts education to the overall knowledge core that will help inform the work of the Arts Education Network and the field nationwide. With the future in mind, attendees will identify strategies for effecting change in local communities as arts educators work together to increase equity and excellence in—and access to—arts education for all students across the country.
